What We Do
We Love Leimert is a cultural organizing initiative rooted in Leimert Park Village—one of Los Angeles’ most vital Black cultural districts. Guided by love for our people and place, we preserve Black cultural legacy, uplift community memory, and foster spaces for healing, joy, and connection.

Through art, civic engagement, and community-rooted creative economy work, we activate the Village as a living sanctuary—a place where culture is protected, creativity is nurtured, and community care is at the heart of everything we do.

Our work builds pathways to collective prosperity by supporting local artists, storytellers, entrepreneurs, and residents, and by keeping Leimert Park a thriving, inclusive home for the culture—past, present, and future.
